  • AutoUpdate

If the autoupdate is no working for you you have to remove the old df directory (save the handler.txt file) and d/load the new client from http://www.distributedfolding.org/Download.html (8Mb old one was 5)!

You know the autoupdate is working if the client is crunching 182 residues per structure (used to be 76)! Remember that the client will have to finish thecurent structure before checking for the updated version!
According to the latest official figures, 43% of all statistics are totally worthless...

THough I didn't get to update 'til a few minutes ago as I was not home, everything went fine. IT asked me, I confirmed, it downloaded and asked me to reboot. It started crunching again right away with the correct protein and work unit sizes.

No problems here, apart from losing about 8000 units

            Update failure....

Jeez. This thing caught me totally by surprise. All my clients went dead in the changeover.

Perhaps because they are all unix?

I'm starting to download new clients now....... Maybe just in time to keep breezer at distance
