Lost 82 generations due to missing previous generation error when uploading to server, something that already turned me away twice from DF in the past.
Hope I get to complete a set in this phase.

Yeah, I lost a previous generation. And there was over 600 generations not uploaded. This was the reason I stopped too. Unsure on getting back at the mo. Renovation till next Friday and the electricity bill is not enticing.

Say, how much time on the average you guys take to complete a set ?
I'm running the command line version with the 3.1 GUI and it's at 65% and roughly 17 hours have passed. Is that a good time for my rig ?

I, for myself, have no idea. I don't leave the GUI running. Since I have all my clients set as a service, I normally just open task manager, to make sure that they are still running.

I have run the benchmark though on all of them. My 1.4 T'bird is the slowest at 78 seconds & 48.something seconds is what I get on my 2500+ Barton

I suppose, just to get you a reference, I'll leave dfGUI running on my primary (the slowest one) for a few days.

I'm just guessing my average for a complete set will be around 20-22 hours

Yes but my orange is still growing. Just wait 'til the newly added and the newly fixed machines have been running for a whole week. We shall see SitFlyer. We shall see.

One more question, what client priority should I put ?
Or should I leave it alone at 20 ?

It's best like it is. It has a very low priority which even though when nothing else is running and it is taking up 99% CPU it will get out of the way when your run someting else. I've had no trouble at this level with any machine home, work, or server.

I get 50-55% usage, guess HT's good for something afterall.
One more generation and I've done my first set, though with 29 hours I'm not quite happy.

edit: server seems to be down, at least I hope it's only that:

The last week figure is for the last 168 hours.
I've got another one coming up in the next week or two. I also will have all of my main crunchers running dual channel this week
