  • Congrats dude! wtg

BTW, the credit-keeping system is still a mess afaics. Our team total is listed at 186k, but we're well over 224k already (well done all! ).

I do hope they get this worked out shortly. Most, if not all of the stat sites are OOO ATM as well.....

We are listed as #67 (WOW!), but that is based on 186k credit. Obviously, all teams will suffer the same, but with the speed at which we compute, we should be quite a bit higher already (#64 is my guess).

    VJ, I hate you.

You'll be happy (?) to know that I managed to speed up calculations on the dual Xeon. Turns out that I got a huge performance hit by letting 4 units run in parallel. Estimated time was 1600 hours. Running only 2 units in parallel yields an estimated time of 600 hours, so when performing the same units I'd only need 1200 hours...
(So using the hyperthreading actually added 400 hours )

Snap, My first stage 3 trickle on my main rig looks a little dodgy though, normally have average sec/TS of 1.9 but it has a sec/TS of 1.2?????

            • Euhm, isn't that faster? (it says sec/TS, not TS/sec)

I see no change: it stays stable at 2.5 sec/TS on my P4 2.4 ...

                • Under BOINC, only credit earned while part of the team goes to the team-total, but you still will show up with your personal score. So if someone had some credit then joining, the total will be less, and if someone leaves, the team-credit can be higher than the individual credit.

But CPDN is screwing around with credit-system, so it's possible they'll not following the rules...

BTW, looks like will be knocked down from #1 in a day or so.

                  • Thats the thing VJ, normally on my 3Ghz it averages about 1.93 but for some reason the last one was 1.2.

I'd love my machine to have got faster but it hasn't.

                    • RattleD, I've been keeping an eye on the credits, and the team total simply has not increased for a few days now, I think ever since they corrected for the incidental additional credits some enjoyed.

I've been looking at this site quite often: http://www.setisynergy.com/stats/tea....php?team=1078

And it simply has not updated for days. I think something is going on which I hope will be resolved soon.

                      • It's apparently 94+ hours since last stats-dump from CPDN, so maybe they've turned this off for the moment...

                        • Also not updated in the last 3 days:

(according to it, we are #73)

                          • Of course, since all off-site-stats-sites uses the same stats-dump-files, if these files haven't been updated for some days none of them have newer stats.

CPDN's own stats-pages seems to be more or less normally updated.

                            Currently #48 after RAC.

                              • Hmm, looking a little closer, own credit seems to be correct, but even RAC isn't the same on team-page & own page so there's definitely something wrong somewhere.
