  • #1K @ Rosetta@Home

Thanks to Zokes, Nicram, Marshmallowman and VJ we are now in the top 1K and climbing rapidly.

    Way to go guys!

With just a bit more help we would get a RAC-ranking in the top 100 and then a top 100 spot is just a matter of a (long long) time.

new computer, giving it and a couple others a bit of a "burn in".

It will be summer soon so this only temporary while its still reasonably cool, but I will see if i can keep some cores tickling a long.

Also I having been working away from home for weeks at a time so production will stop then as well.

From the ranking, it looks like we can still overtake a couple more.

I'm waiting till my colleagues get back, to ask them if I can run it on their computers at night. The fact that you can remotely manage computers using the BOINC Manager would be perfect. They come back next week.

Looking forward to the next winter then

Understandable. Just great it's running when it is.

Yes, we are really climbing fast right now.

              Funny way of phrasing it...

And we left the Northwest Technical Institute in our dust (you mentioned them in the #2K thread).

While our team is getting up in the ranks, I was once in second place, twas the good times.

At least I've got a computer going.

LOL. But we're doing very well together and I think SitFlyer is trying to join as well.

I took a gander at is systems and I should be good for now.

Wow, 6 members in such little time, nice!

Man, I'd love to build a rack of Supermicro SYS-8027R-TRF's & another with Supermicro TwinBlade SBA-7222G T2's and pit them up against each other and see which one pummps out more, just for the heck of it.

                        And we made #900!!!!!One11noe1!

Amazing, it took me ages to get from 1200 to 1100 and now in about one week we left another 100 in the dust. No one ranked lower than us is crunching as fast as we currently are.

The unfortunate loss of Marshmallowmans' credits for at least a while has hardly affected us. Nicram is churning like crazy and Zokes has added a machine as well

AIW Marshmallow re-joins in full we're looking at way better than #100! (although it'll take a little while).

                          SitFlyer passed 1,000 credits!

I limited the CPU usage during the day to 75% when not in use, as the client seems to respond too late when I start using the computer, and freezes everything... But at night it should crunch happily on at 100%. Getting my colleagues involved is a bit difficult, as they seem to be a bit weary to run the client... Mainly because they use large software and models (opening one of them on a month-old computer takes about half an hour before it is ready to be used). So for now I'll have to stick to just one computer...

I added my main laptop, although it's not always on. Now if there was only a way to install it on my cell phone. :P
