  • Overclocking without overheating...?

Well...as we all know, overclocking does produce heat and it is advisable to remove that heat. Slap on a fan onto that heatsink!

    Thanks alot.

I'll try connecting a fan to my card, and see how far it will take me

One problem with that approach is obscuring the next PCI slot. If you use something like a Tennmax cooler you can still use it.

I currently have a fan blowing at the card and an extractor fan in the adjacent slot, which sucks air across the heatsink and this does a reasonable job - I can clock to 297 at 2/1.5/2. I intend to get the tennmax cooler and see if I can go any further.

      Good Luck.
