      Hi there CyberDude!

I got new fan, and I put it on the back of my G400M.

      How I done it:
I took medical plaster (sticky "paper", maybe it can be called that way) I cut 4 pieces I put them on 4 memory blocks and I put my fan on it. I just had few mins to test it. My Quake-2 runed 15 mins w/o broken image. I ll test today for more time. Right now my G400M overclocked to 165/207.

Only problem as I think can be it thats I put this plaster on memory blocks... so now memory can overheat... duno

One thing, dont think that I am Russian and because of that I used this "wierd" way to put fan on the back of G400M.

Hi SVS[RUS]SU-37 And thanx for the info.
I'm thinking of a small heatsink at the back of my G400(If I could find one).

        And Thanx again!

one of the problems with a heatsink on the back of the card is the cpu (on P-2 and P-3 boards) is real close and they won't stay very cool, you'll have to also put a fan on the heatsink but pull the air from the chip instead of blowing at it, that way you'll pull air from the side and not the back via the processor

            Hi DuRaNgO!
I tryed this method, but I got only 1 hour quake-play, afterwards image crashes. I done another thing, I put fan on G400M on the back, with wind rushing in to the G400M chip, and I putted another bigger fan (7.5cm) blowing wind to the back of the comp box.
After all this I got about 2-3 hours of quake play. Very good, with G400M now my record in Quake-2, in internet, in 30min (server limit) I got 207frags (416fph)!
