I told matrox support that I've done the 1280x960 and asked in which steps it is possible to make new resolutions. The answer if it could named so, was very annoying

I think even if they don't support, it's worth some more words! But the answer came in incredible speed, i can't believe they've read the whole message.
I answered that if they do their job no one will need to hack the registry (no answer
till now) I've made a new request for support in a supportable form (no answer till now). So you have to try yourself asking matrox why it isn't a standard resolution!

Something between 1280x960 and 1600x1200 maybe? I think I saw 1440x1080 on some video-editing board... Would that be doable??
