Does anybody else notice an odd problem with opengl screensavers (voodoo lights, superquadratics, ssflwbox, etc) where they apparently refuse to unload? I end up having to kill them in task manager manually. This doesn't seem to happen in games such as quake2, although the sluggish performance discourages my playing in NT anyways.
On a possibly related note, the nt/9x opengl performance disparity makes me think that matrox wrote their 9x ICD by extending the D3D wrapper. I'd be interested to know anyone else's facts/theories on this matter.
