Errors with Powerdesk 5.30

Check this out... I've just tried to install Powerdesk 5.30!

And error has occured while loading the Setup DLL files. Make sure that the files "SetupRes.dll" , "Setup32.DLL" and "Setup16.dll" are in the same directory than the "Setup.exe" file.

Press OK to terminate the application.


Ok, so after this message i've just check the DLL files if they was in the same directory... No problem for that!

After i've tried to install my old setup PowerDesk 5.20, and it didn't work! The same error, so i've remove all the drivers with the uninstaller i've rebooted my compu and reinstalled the 5.20 drivers but not powerdesk(because of the error)

so after that i've tried the drivers and powerdesk on the original CD from Matrox.
So i've started the autoplay of the CD and the setup program appear but i was unable to read, there was nothing! just a window with the Next I presume... (it must be a problem with the font or something!)

My Specs...
P3-450
128RAM 100Mhz
Asus P3BF
Running with Win98SE and Debian 2.1(not very important anyway!)

Anyway I'm sure that the cause of this problem its not Matrox but a program on my compu or something like that...
Recently, I've installed Customizer 98 (its like TweakUI)

Hi,

Have you tried completely removing the drivers with the uninstaller and then simply installing the drivers with the INF through the device manager? This should still install everything.

Yep!

I've removed everything! Even the Matrox DVD Player! When I say everything its everything! hehehe
Anyway, I could now try to install the drivers with the INF but why I can't use the setup ? I will have to solve this problem anyway! So does anybody can help me with my problem with the setup ?
