Does PD v5.30 use the new PIII instructions?

Do the drivers use the new instructions, or is it just the recently-released OpenGL module that uses them?

If the general video drivers currently do not use the PIII instructions, are there plans to do so in a later release?

Drivers: No
OGL: No

But the Turbo-GL feature, the Turbo OGL, does use the P3's extra instruction set.

Too bad about the drivers not using the new instructions. It would've been nice to get a "free" 2D performance boost on my PIII-based system.
