NT4 g400 drivers on win2k ??

Anyone tried installing the NT4 g400 drivers on win2k. With w2k from what i've heard alot of nt4 drivers work, anyone tried the nt4 g400 on win2k? or do i HAVE to use the win2k beta drivers with no d3d?
