  • Problems with G400 on W2K with newer than 5.06 drivers

Anyone has the same problem and a solution for this problem:

PD5.06 works fine but every version after that has not worked. Setup runs tru ok, finds G400, reboots. Then Im in VGA mode while the display properties says Im using G400. If I try to run PD it says that no supported drivers found.

Matroxs tech support helpfully adviced basically to reinstall everything with newest drivers and remove every other device but the G400. Chee, I wonder why I didnt think of that myself [insert sarcasm here].

Since Im not willing to put days of work for that has anyone any idea how to fix the problem before I go and buy a real graphics card?

(I just wonder why I fell into buying G400 in the first place after all the trouble and broken promishes with G200..)

I have exactly the same problem with newer drivers on my G400 and G200 when I connect my monitor via a BNC-cable (RGBHV).

If I connect my monitor with a standard-VGA cable all works fine (with newer drivers).

The problem begans with new drivers around 5.10 (or higher) on Windows 2000.
