G400 DH and G200 SD pci
On a win2000 machine i have a g400 DH (bulk version) using only one head, up till now i had a matrox millenium in a pci slot with a second monitor attached, that worked like a charm, but in high resolutions i was stuck to 16bit color and i wanted some better colors so i got from the european matrox shop a bulk g200 SD pci card.
i replaced the card and installed the newest powerdesk drivers from the murc site, i also took the time to update my via 4-in-1 mobo drivers to the latest versions ...
on first looks everything works fine,
no problem, but after a few minutes working the screen on the second monitor get phucked up, all small scanlines over images and along the screen, when i reboot it is ok again for a few minutes, even sometimes when playing an mpeg, the box just freezes ...
i think this only happens when it is running at 75Hz, i am not crashtesting if it behaves like this too when used at horrible 60Hz.
