Matrox Pdesk sposed to switch dh modes?

I thought that the new update was sposed to be able to switch dual-head modes w/o any rebooting... but when I try to switch, it invariably says that I must reboot to activate changes. What's the deal?

You should only have to reboot when completly enabling/disabling DH.
When DH is active, you should no longer have to reboot when switching from one DH mode to another.
