can't change refresh rate

ok last nite i was at a lan party. since i didnt wanna lug my 21" sony multiscan 20seII to my friend's house, i took the 15" monitor instead. this afternoon i reconnected my system to the 21", and now i can't get a refresh rate higher than 60 hz. the flickering is driving me crazy! any solutions?

20 wievs and 3 days and still no one has helped you!

Anyways make sure your computer has not detected your monitor as "default monitor" if it has change it to "plug and play" monitor and you should be fine!

I asume you are runing w98 and using the laest drivers

There are two ways:
1) In the screen properties, in the last tab (settings?), there's an "advanced" button. Click on it, choose monitor, and change. Just reinstall the moitor you are using.

2) Change videocard

3) Ask Matrox to solve the problem with their idiot driver.


(I said two solution, 'cause the third solves nothing)
