Win98SE startup logo+2 black flashing screens?
Just got a quick, but rather bizzare question about the Marvel G450eTV. After the drivers/powerdesk tools were installed for this product, you get like 2 flashes of black screens during the startup phase of Win98SE where u normally see the logo.
Basically, this is how it goes:
First 5 secs, you see the Win98 logo
Next 3 sec, you see a blank, black screen
Next 0.5sec, you see the Win98 logo again
Next 3 sec, you see a blank, black screen again
... and after that, starts up as usual with the Win98 logo and then going to the Win98 desktop.
Before the drivers were installed, it did not have these "flashes", so I assume it was caused by the driver/Powerdesk installation.
My question is, is this normal? Or have I done something wrong?
The motherboard is an ASUS A7V133-C (non-RAID) Rev. 1.05, and BIOS Rev 1004. The G450eTV has powerdesk version 6.25.011.
I have checked the Matrox website, but there appears to be no updates for the Marvel G450eTV (except for the standard G450).
Hope someone can help me out here!
