DeskNav and DirectX8 on G400 MAX DH
I have a Millenium G400 MAX dualhead system with 2 monitors, with 1600x1200 and 1280x960 resolutions. I am running Windows 2000 SP2, and the 5.52 drivers.
I recently installed DirectX8 and the DeskNav stopped working properly. Before it would let me zoom in on the first display, but not the second, which was OK (using DirectX7). Now it won't let me zoom in on either one. It claims to be able to zoom in on display 2 now (zoom icon is not ghosted when display 2 is selected), but nothing happens when I try to zoom in. The zoom icon is ghosted when display 1 is selected, so I can't zoom in on it like I used to. What could be wrong, and how can I fix it?
Nothing else seems to have changed since I installed DirectX8, except I can now play games that require it.
