  • Powerdesk & W2K

I have had an ongoing niggle with powerdesk and windows 2000.
If I boot the machine up or restart it everything is fine, the powerdesk icon appears in the system tray, if I log out and my wife logs in or vice versa I get the dong from the speakers when powerdesk is supposed to load instead of the icon appearing, any body have any ideas what may be causing this, not a big problem but more of an annoyance when you want to change screen size quickly.
Thanks for the help, all suggestions appreciated.

    Geoff Taylor.

Is your wife logging on with administrative rights?

Have you noticed this with different driver versions?

It happens when anybody flips between logins with whatever rights, admin to normal user. I have been through every driver version there is for the card and they all do it.
Trouble is very ocasionally it works correctly, sort of learning to live with it.
I have just aquired a G450 dual head so i'll see if that does it.
