That kind of dishonesty can only be found in some shareware apps made by complete [hmm. can't find the right word for it] which when supposedly detect an illegit copy go on damaging your system.
That's obviously not saying pirates are to register their software with illegal serials and such.

I have Visual Studio Prof. (which also comes at a relatively acceptable price), that has VB and all the other V's in it, although I'm only using MSVC++ mostly.
But talk about Windows 2000, especially server. Not something everyone could afford to buy for private use.
