If you've never seen a Barenaked Ladies show live, you HAVE to go see them. Last time I saw them, they opened up with Europe's rocking classic "The Final Countdown".

Seriously, the shows are 2+ hours of great music and general silliness. They do some of the best improv songs.

I do have to admit, they're getting more pop and less quirky which is kind of a disappointment music-wise but they're still good.

                    Thanks for everyone's feedback

Just to keep with the swing of things, here are my recommendations:

Thrash: Pantera, White Zombie, Machine Head(Check out there remake of Message in a bootle by the Police), Slayer, Sepultura, SevenDust, and Fear Factory.

Alternative: Monster Magnet, Guano Apes, Alice In Chains, Days of the New, End of Days soundtrack, Spawn soundtrack.

Misc. Lenny Kravitz, Jewel, Tori Amos, 3 Doors Down, Megadeth, Fiona Apple, Cyndi Lauper, Seven Mary Three, Iron Maiden, Faith hill, Beastie Boys, Aailyah, I could go on and on. Just though I'd throw a few out there.

                    Dave
Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.

YOU HAVE GOT TO CHECK OUT THE LATEST DEFTONES ALBUM, "The White Pony".

                          Search this for electronic groove-o-rama:

                          Photek
                          Morcheeba
                          Adam F
                          Those Norwegians
                          Peshay

Now for some heavier, cool stuff:

                          Entombed
                          Corrosion of Conformity
                          Fu Manchu
                          My Dying Bride
                          Crowbar
                          Kyuss
                          Queens of the Stone Age

We're In This Together from Nine Inch Nails

Better Life from 3 Doors Down

                            Stellar from Incubus

Hey, Paddy, some of the MI2 theme mp3s floating around Napster are of terrible quality (from radio?). The length of the one from CD is 5:18, not 5:15.

OK, I don't have much of a sound system, compared to merchant and Faran. Just a set of Microworks from Cambridge Soundworks. Pretty good speakers, actually.

BTW, you don't download from Napster, but somebody using Napster.
