From the last news I heard, the control tower advised the pilot of the flame a very few (a 20th secs about) after the plane took off.

And I checked my material about the Concorde, it can fly with only two engine. This is somehow obvious if you consider that the plane is not so heavy weight and it has 4 huge power engines. Also, it's wings, even with delta design, generate a lot more lift than normal planes.
Even more the Concorde, for its wings design, gain a 30% lift at low speed and quite 60% when at low speed near the ground.

My suppose is that the thrust reverser has somehow messed up with the plane aerodynamics, probably obstructing the flow of the air that the design generate if there is an engine fault (the Concorde has a flow air sistem that is studied in case an engine take fire, to allow the subsonic flight to the nearest airport)

However, it can be anything, but for me this discussion has finished.
It's not because I am in disagree with speacking of this, but simply because having seen the ama video yesterday has made me loose the [babelfish translate from IT]voglia[/babelfish traduce from IT] to think again at it.

Sat on a pile of deads, I enjoy my oysters.
