NS6 can be cool, they just need to let the graphics people have at it. The current Netscape homepage, as well as the entire NS6 browser, look like a Windows user's Linux nightmare. Seriously. It's everything that we Windows people hate about the way that Opensource looks and feels. And the worst part is that it doesn't have to look that way. I love the way gnome looks and feels, and if NS6 were like that I'd use it (well, provided they stop it from crashing on plain text web pages and that sort of thing).

I've been using NS 4.74 for about a week now and have had several crashes again, yes. But the fix Greebe was talking about was that these forums here finally remember your nickname and password when you post here.
The way to do it? Install 4.74, goto the forums, goto preferences, delete your cookie, set your new preferences, and post something. Then any next post will remember your stuff again, at least, when you have Javascript on.
And there's the problem, for when you load these forums with Javascript on, you are always waiting for the stupid adserver to come through... Disable JS and hey, it speeds up loading every page by 50 to 99% !!
One particular thing I like about NS, btw, is that if it crashes (due to the memory leak?) in some known or unknown module, it won't rob you of your systemtray, taskbar and half your windows, as IE does. And I've got IE5 now again in old Win98, but earlier I had Win ME installed (read all about it on GH) and IE 5.5 crashed on me and ME... Nice blue screen you're looking at then... the only thing you can do then is press your reboot button on your PC.
Now, I wasn't downgrading Jason to being silly, and I wasn't upgrading Greebe to being whatever he wants to be. I was only informing the other 94% of the 95% of NS users

Jorden,
To fix the "taskbar blues" with IE, enable the "open each window in a separate process" option in both Explorer and Internet Explorer. (You will need TweakUI to do this in Explorer - it's not 100% critical in Explorer either, but it is crucial in IE!)
