I am in the process of moving to Pennsylvania. I know, you might ask "why Pennsylvania". And the answer is because I don't want to live in Jersey!
Hehe. Nothing personal Frank!
My wife's job forced us to relocate. And I wasn't doing anything so important with my life that I couldn't do it down there, so...

P.S. Don't go tempting me with those kisses, Holly. You two aren't married... yet...
P.P.S. That, in case you didn't get it, was A JOKE. (This said as Jason's wife stands over his shoulder...)

The Internet - where men are men, women are men, and teenage girls are FBI agents!
I'm the least you could do
If only life were as easy as you
I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
I would still get screwed
I know. Julie has a good sense of humor. She can actually be quite dangerous when she's in a humorous mood...

Great to see you back, Gurm! Good luck moving. Pennsylvania is beautiful, hope you'll love living there.
Yes, yes, parts of Jersey are beautiful as well, but I lived there while going to college and I am.... errr, just not a Jersey girl, y'know?
So... details, details....? House or apartment? City or suburb? Near the shore or in the woods? And when?
Kisses and best wishes to both you and Julie (congratulations on the promotion I guess you got, Julie!), for being a couple whose names sound cool together
Well, we're in a half a house for the moment, in far eastern Pennsylvania ('cuz Julie works in Jersey).
The rental market in that area kinda sucks right now. There were literally 3 apartments for rent. We called a realtor, and they had the same 3 apartments that were in the paper.
So we took the least offensive one. It has no two-way cable modems, so I'll be stuck on 28.8k upload for a while, and it's kinda loud (it's right on the street and it's a busy street) but once I have a new job down there we will begin house hunting in earnest.
Currently we're in East Bangor (I say we, although I've spent a total of 3 nights there so far, hehe) which is about 15-20 minutes east of Allentown. We intend to move another 20 minutes east when we get a house, putting us literally in walking distance of the border. Still pretty country, but a shorter commute for her.
It's very much NOT city. The street we're on now is kinda crowded-town-ish, but one street over is the boonies. You know the type of area. Hehe.
Anyway, she says "thanks", and I had better go now since I am supposed to be making her breakfast. Lord only knows what I'm even doing checking these boards when I haven't seen her all week. Hehe.

One tends to think you'll be skipping the breakfast as well, then
Btw, don't do it on top of the toast-crumbs... I haven't found a single more annoying thing than crumbs in bed yet, but that might be me
Oh, btw, on rethinking that: More annoying is trying to hide for the mosquito, by diving under the covers, and then finding out the mosquito dived under with you
A screen helps. You know, a little metal thing that goes into your windows so bugs can't get in?
Also you could try a bug zapper, or bug spray, or heaven forbid a can of Raid after you come in but well before you go to bed.

Nah Jorden, we made it through breakfast just fine (we were REALLY hungry for some reason) but... err... maybe I should stop now.

That only works for flies and moths, dZeus. Mostquitos react on the amount of carbondioxide you breathe out and your body-heat. And it's only the females that sting you, although even the males make that annoying sound they make, as far as I know
They don't give me headaches, they bite me and give me an itching head
But true that you can never find them when you turn on the light And if you do find it, you can bet whatever you want to stake at it that you've invited 2 others while you hunted down that one
Jason, congrats Looking at MHW I wonder if we shouldn't have Gurm's little ranting corner there
Hi dZeus
You can try an ultrasonic mosquito repellant. It uses ultrasonic waves to drive mosquitoes out.No chemicals
P.S. I don't know if these things are available at Mars, but I know you can get these from Jupiter,he,he
Female mosquitos, the only ones that sting, don't have ears. So you can throw any sound at them but that won't deter them from you. About the only things that help are the netting, a screen or any repellent that uses citronella (is that the same in English?).
