Good thinking around here, and even I am willing to pay my part. Ant knows where we presently live, so he could give you the address

Errm, ofcourse, you could send me an email, and I could tell you as well...

    In the mean time my P3-450 is overloaded with 2 hdd's, 1 50x cd-rom, 1 cd-rw, 1 dvd-player and 1 LS-120, a G400, SB-32 and NIC, on a 235W PSU

But it's still running okay, as far as I can tell

Thx to Assim (through ICQ) btw, for bringing up the LX-board AGP-slot power drain. It might've been that, but we'll never know

    Jord.

      Jorden:

Silly question: why not just pull your HD out of your machine temporarily and throw Holly's in so she can back up her stuff to the CDRW?

Although it may appear on the surface that you need a BX mobo, I have found that simply buying new toys seldon brings happiness. The root of all evil is Win9x, with the Federal Liberals coming in a close second.

Perhaps an exorcism is in order?

I have a couple of extra BX boards as well. One could be Holly's if she wants it.
