I found that on some swiss web site, I translated it as good as I could.
A transatlantic argument burst about spitting of cherry-stones
AARAU - the cloth burns between Switzerland and the United States concerning the record of the world of spitting of cherry-stones. The Swiss Federation thus launched a challenge to the Americans for a duel at the top. The meeting will make it possible to prove which of the two countries is the best. The invitation for this combat of the bests was transmitted by fax to the American Federation. According to Americans, the actuel holder of the world record, the Argovian Thomas Steinhauer, would have spit of the cherry-stones by taking its dash. The Swiss Federation rejects these charges.
I did not know how to translate "les torchons brulent", so I put "the cloth burns".
In fact that only means that they are some hefty arguments between two parties/people.
I hope we won't get a WWIII for that
