Y'all can bite my hairy a**! (just kidding now!)

Oh hell, maybe I was just a bit sensitive last night. Things allways seem brighter in the light of a new day!

Paul,
Oh yeah, I remember Lukey. Those were the good ol' BBQ days!

Dimitri,
Why don't you start a "favorite insults" thread. You are quite good at those things.

Nuno,

People come here with polite manners and all I can see here is respect and will to help. They come otherwise, and well, they can take a hike as far as I´m concerned.
I agree!

Y'all have a nice day now!

Ah Jake, no worries-- one of the down sides of being a LP(ost)B is that you don't go with the flow of the MURC....

We've been talking about the G400 for over a year, said all there is to say about it, there's no word on the G800 at all, and all we have is the G-4-"waste-of-space"-50...

There's not even an interesting competitor's card to b*tch about!

In such times our natural bad attitude has nothing but each other to feed on, but for each other.

And you just staked yourself out for bait (Thanks!)

So in keeping with the general theme, errr.... BITE ME!

(And yes, we're all joking with you. Except for Joel, probably. He never jokes. About anything )

Hey I'll take a bite of you anyday, baby
(Putting on asbestos suit)

And you are right, we need an interesting competitor's card to bitch about!

Or some news on that "hopefully soon to be released great Matrox card, the G800"!

Btw, what's an LP(ost)B??

Regards,

Hey hey hey, Lukey back in the house...feelin like a mouse... Booyakasha!

How's y'all doin? Been a damn long time, but seeing as I'm getting a mentioning here and there, thought I'd best post for old times sakes...

Where's Maggi and Kruzin? They still around? Or did they bite the bullet and ride the Nvidia wave?

I have a confession, the reason I'm not around here is because I've jumped ship and now have a Nvidia powered system at home, simply because I'd had enough of the G200+V2 combo and the PIII800 needed a video card that allowed it to, hmmmm, stretch it's legs? hehe Now I'm gaming at 1280x960 in Half Life and kicking some serious ass (I'm also one of the lucky Engleesh dogs that got ADSL before it has been released in the UK, on a trial basis) and that leads on to Muad'Dibs question (love the name son, straight out of Dune right?) an LPB is a Low Ping Bastard, someone kindly refered to when they have a broadband connection playing an online game (Quake or Half Life) and they're ping (or latency) is below say 100ms...people on a modem connection usually take offence to this (it's a form of cheating don't you know ) and therefore you are labelled an LPB.... Cheers!

Anyways, why all the big fuss? Everybody knows and the loves the MURC, it's quite easily the happiest forum around and if I still had a Matrox, I'd be here everyday, but I feel a bit of a hypocrite now....doh!

But when that G1600 comes out (inside information I hear you ask ? ) I'll definitley be sniffing round!! And nothing beats the G - series for 2d picture quality...my Geforce is all shimmery when you look up close in 1280x1024...rock solid when I had the G200...

Anyways, my love goes out to Pauly (ALBPM), Kruzin, Magster and Jordan...

The rest of you can go kiss my big hairy ass!! hehehe

Laters people....have fun now y'all hear..

LPB in gaming has been explained. Holly meant this as a low-post 'B' - so if you are a mini MURCer then you are a newbie!

I must say that there is a new breed of guys in these forums who are just over 450 posts who are really nice and haven't been here long enough to be soured by nvidiots or idiots (Tom?) .

On second thoughts, bite me.

... my ears popped... hehe I laughed out loud at that one!

I agree with Jake to an extent. I don't care about trolls coming in here - I just ignore them.

I'm more concerned with how MURCers are treating each other. It all came to a head a little while ago and it doesn't seem to have completely settled quite yet.

Hopefully everyone has gotten the nastiness out of their systems and we can go back to singing around the campfire.

All the 'bite' me posts immediately after Jake's post cracked me up (I knew they were kidding).

Keeping in character...

Bite me!

Thought I should get that out of the way at the outset.

I have to agree with Jake as well to a certain extent. I think there has been a slightly overreactive atmosphere as late, but by the same token, the number of idiots coming onto thte MURC and ranting about the nVidia FOtM® (Flavor Of the Month) has increased as well. On top of that, you KNOW that all of the Matrox supporters on this board are beginning to fidget with impatience waiting for the G800.

I think it's perfectly understandable that people are getting a little short fused lately. But everyone(well, almost everyone, there's always a few), will get over it eventually, and the MURC is hardly going to fall to peices simply because we get a little, um, over-zealous(is that tactful enough? ) at times.

And besides which, the rants about the nVidia FOtM®, being full of nothing as they are, will fit quite nicely into my Fabulous Nothing Jar®.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go be a peon.
