The US warship was scheduled to be there for four hours to refuel. Nothing else. It was just getting fuel and supplies. It wasn't there to help Isreal. It wasn't there to evacuate anyone. It wasn't there to police anything. It was just getting fuel.
The terrorists that attacked it only made their cause worse. If it had been war time the attack would have been called casualties of war. But since it is peace time (or as close as we can get these days), it will only aggrivate the US. Now the US will do everything in its power to hunt down the group involved and take them out. Had the terrorist group not done this, they would have been on some list someone and left alone.
Can't we all just get along?
