  • Stupidity is this the new fashion.

Reading a local paper today and a letter to the editor was about car owners, who just because they couldn't turn the car around just drove down the pavement instead.
Now thats pretty stupid someone might walk out and you could kill them it's pretty obivous and it's also breaking the law.
Most poeple wouldn't put the fingers in a mains socket because they'd kill themselfs. However they'd happily walk around in the middle of a busy road jumping out of the way of traffic.
I was watching a women 20 ft from the crossing dressed in black standing in the road at night nearly get run over four times trying to cross to the otherside. By the time she managed it in one peice by the way she could have crossed by the crossing.
You get car owners that will drive through a red light happily a minute after it's changed doesn't matter if a lorry is driving through from the other direction. They also drive down the wrong side of the road just because they queue even if theres someone coming.
Cyclists that complain about a lack of space but will happily swerve in front of buses or creep through slow moving traffic with inches to spare. Even better completly block a narrow two way road.
Yep I think stupidity is the new fashion now I'm going to turn on the oven stick my head in it and see if it's hot!

I suspect stupidity has always been in fashion. It just never seems to go out of style.
