And Jorden, those artifacts that you see should be probably gone by now. It is not so hard on the eyes (Well not as much as the banned pokemon episode which supposedly cause epileptic seizures; I d/led the clip and watched it repeatedly and nothing. Bah!).
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.
Stupid eyes! Stupid Brain! What does it think it's doing! Look at the dams dots you idioting eye balls! And oi! you! brain! I COMMAND you to tell me what the eyes tell you! No no no - not that! you're wrong! Go look again!
Right, come 'ere mr Brain - sort it out - how can the dots be moving or changing from black to white?! It's a non-animated picture!
AARRGHHH I GIVE UP! I am now suing you impact for I have collapsed in a heap of flesh and bones on the floor, quivering with my eyeballs gouged out....

"Life is what we make of it, yet most of us just fake"
the spots in a area of your vision are black because the place where the light of those dots project onto the back of your eyes (whatever that is called in English), there are no cells that can detect light, because right at that spot, the nerves that carry the signals from your eyes, leave the eye and go to the brain.
I hope this is a bit understandable, otherwise check a medical ecyclopedia.
Does the fact that there are no black dots encoded into the image but simply optical effects generated by your eyes mean the black dots don't exist? Do they reside in the eye or on the screen?
Hmm, if this pattern were in a forest, how many black dots would there be?
The real question is: How many Murcers does it take to count black dots?
