According to information obtained from Social Security Administration Actuarial, Paul was ranked number 93 out of top 100 names for 1999. Michael was number 1 while Xavier was number 100.

For year 2000, Paul moved up to 91, while Michael held number 1 and Jeffrey ranked 100th. This is not a final though, only includes the first 8 months of 2000.

Check your rank if you so desire... http://www.babynames.com/

Not just anyone can be named Paul. It's a big responsibility. You have to take a test and swear an oath.

Hmmm. It appears Paul has inched ahead of Jesus in 2000, but trails Gavin and Bryce. I've met several people named Paul during my lifetime, but not single person named Bryce.

And I live in San Francisco.
