In the states it is something like
Do some undergrad courses>do 4 years med school>3 years internship>residency
Or something like that. MD at end

In Jamaica we use a British type system.
Five years to get the MBBS degree. Let's see what I did now. Pre-Clinical which included Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and Community Health (which included sociology, epidemiology, public health etc.)
The Clinics started (3 years) and we did Pharmacology (gotta love Rang and Dale, Goodman and Gillman and co.), Pathology and Microbiology, Medicine , Surgery, and Ob/Gyn. We took part in the active management of patients, sometimes taking first call. It was at around that time I decided I didn't want to be a doctor anymore, but finshed my degree just in case I changed my mind. (Which I haven't except for a brief period of madness last July when I actually started internship... hehe left after first weekend duty of 48 hrs).
However I do not regret having gone to Med. School, I had a lot of fun and made many new friends and learned a bit of discipline. and ways to kill people Muahahahaha
    Ok ignore that last

Cheers for the oh so many replys!
Sorry about the delay, but i have been celebrating with my g/f and parents-in-law-to-be.

DentyCracker: I managed to avoid Rang and Dale! Have you heard of Stryer?

Ayoub: It is a fairly sized thread which is still on topic!

On a side note: does anyone have the creative webcam go plus?

I have never used a webcam before i was expecting better picture quality...

Are you using Win2K? I had to d/l the latest driver & control application just to get the thing working, and it still seems a little temprimental. Windows is screaming to be rebuilt however...

                Have you had any problems?

Also can you advise on which method of audio/video compression to use?
