I saw What lies beneath at the weekend - pretty good, but not fantastic.

I'd say around 7 out of 10, Gladiator 9 out of 10, Shawshank Rdemption 10 out of 10, braveheart 9.5 out of 10

I've heard "Yonks" used heaps. Guess it's an English thing that was brought to Australia long ago.

"ages" is when you play on your DreamCast through a mirror...

Getting back to Gladiator, I'm sorry I screwed up and didn't see it in a theatre. Ridley Scott's films alway look great: Alien, Bladerunner, even Thelma & Louise. No one makes eye candy like Ridley Scott. When I say "eye candy," I don't mean to trivialize his films. I'm not saying they are extended MTV videos. I just get a lot of pleasure from looking at Scott's films.

Gladiator is definitly high on my ,ovie list. Braveheart thought ws OK, but I wouldnt put it above Gladiator. X-men is cool too. One movie I personally loved even though most of the planet didnt like it was Titan AE. But then again, I'm a sucker for happy endings.

                          P.S.

Anime lovers, stop wasting time and go get Wings of Homneaise.

I thought Titan A.E. was gorgeous, but not a great movie overall. The plot had huge holes in it. I have a feeling that the things that would have made it a better movie ended up on the cutting room floor so that the movie wouldn't be too long for the young teens that were mistakenly chosen as the target audience.

I hope they don't do that to Final Fantasy, and Atlantis has potential too.

I'm so far behind on my movies

no wait.. i've seen a few... well, the last movie i saw at the theatre was The Cell.. and i liked it .. a lot.. but for some reason when my boyfriend and i left the theatre.. everyone else that was leaving hated it.. hmmm.. and i recently rented High Fidelty at home... loved it, but im also a john Cusak fan.. he talks to the camera, and alot of people dont like that. so see it at your own risk.. What was the topic about again ?

                              lol.... Lizzy
