  • No UPN. No Star Trek. Help.

For a while now, I've been getting my TV off a satellite, and, ironically, Star Trek: Voyager doesn't come with the deal. In addition, I've been completely cut off from fandom since moving back to California.

What's happening? I hear the series is coming to an end. Are they back home? Has anyone died? Does Capt. Janeway still refuse to shoot back? Is she still flying into dangerous looking cosmic anomolies, figuring them for shortcuts?

Does Paramont intend to replace Voyager with anything?

Both the hard facts and gossip would be appreciated.

I believe they all got drunk on pan-galactic gargle-blasters, and then they where eaten by the ravenous bugblatter beast of traal. The End.

Oh, and I'm suppose to believe the ravenous bugblatter beast of traal can be found in the Delta Quadrant! I happen to know it is indigenous to San Francisco's many fine bars and taverns. In fact, it followed me home a few times recently.

I figure tranfusion would be the most efficient way to catch up on the episodes I missed and will miss. Maybe suppositories would work as well.

Hey Paul....the limitations of technology! I live right down the road from you. Don't have cable but I pick up UPN 44 beautifully. So dump that satellite and join us ludites that still don't have cable and all your Star Trek dreams will come true.
Well, Okay, I do live on Skyline.....so reception is always great.

I live just below Twin Peaks, Johnny. Geography and the laws of physics are against me. My choices are limited. I either get a TV signal from space or from @Home.

I think it's time for a Bay Area MURC convention.

Liz, thanks. You're a big help. You can't come.

Paul, I had a link pointing to the next Star Trek spinoff as being the series showing how it all began......Birth of the Federation....if I recall it was bing written now and production within the next 2 years.....that way we can still enjoy reruns of Seven of Nine, and Deanna Troi of Betazed from earlier shows =0))

The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

do what us Australians have to do, and now that I'm in Japan I have no hope - head to the video store and either hire 'em or just read the blurbs on the missing episodes

You can always download the episodes, there are enough sites that offer them in all sorts of formats. That's how I view the latest voyager episodes.
