    almost fried my cpu :(

    a few hours after upgrading from dsl to cable roadrunner (which is amazingly fast ), my comp locked up, I glanced down at my cp-vue temp gauge on the front of my case and saw a cpu temp of 112f!

    Upon inspection, I found that the peltier element on my hsf had failed, luckily I noticed the temp before trying to reboot or it could have been disasterous

    I'm down to running @ 933 with my "old" Tennmax P3STF until I can get it fixed

      yup, I'd have hated losing this gem

      I'm getting about 5-10 fps less in UT now but it's still very playable (around 40 @ 800x600/32bit)
