and from what i understand the condor I was the g450, which makes me think the condorII would be the next gen oem buissiness card

i'd hope so too, but then again, they wouldn't print advertising for something named "condor" if they wouldn't call it that, would they?

maybe they'll release two chips or two cards (two entirely different chips would be too much i think, but maybe something along the lines of g400 / g400 MAX or a little more different, like gf2ultra and gf2mx, which are essentialy the same core but play in different leagues (speed-wise, at least)), so this could be the name for the business card (since condor II would seem like a successor to condor, which is the g450 afaik), and the gamer's card (if they do release such a thing) could have another name...

some possibilities:

work: millenium condor II
game: mystique condor II
video: marvel condor II

now these all seem a bit long to me, so maybe it's just...

i dont think two chips is that unlikely. somewhere in this forum someone was talking about next gen and nextnext gen matrox chips, so maybe theyll be out at about the same time. lets hope the one im buying is no the condor
my favorite matrox name so far was mystique, so i hope they are gonna call it mystique 2001 or something like that.
i would also like to see the max version having features similar to the radeon AIW (TV, video in and such) because i hate buying seperate cards for everything.
and of course it should have gf3 performance, ALL possible features + some impossible ones and it shouldnt cost more thatn 200$
