Hmm, didn't even noticed it.
Wouldn't it be cool if everything had a black PCB ?
Mate this thing with a Suma video card and find a sound card, modem, NIC and memory with a black PCB

my 4-year-old terratec maestro 32/96 soundcard has got a black pcb... bought it for 450 DM (over 200$) back then and it has given me nothing but trouble *lol
actually it's a d'ream synthesizer (i believe, but that could be the 4mb wavetable rom), and it's capable of 48khz/20bits (which was really much for that time)...
was one of the finest cards back then... (better thn the awe32) the only problem was, it wasn't from creative, so it was lacking dos games compatibility... only sb pro compatible..
(actually this is still annoying me, as a quick glance at the specs of my only pc will tell you )
asus p55t2p4
p166mmx@183 on a 75 mhz fsb
matrox millennium 4mb
terratec maestro 32/96
64 mb 60ns edo (upgraded from 32 originally)
iiyama vision master pro 17 (was friggin' expensive back then)
15gb quantum lct (upgrade from 2gb ibm daqa)
pioneer dr-a12x cdd (sooo loud!!!)
sony 8x/4x/32x burner (forgot the number, upgrade)
microsoft mouse
cherry g83-6000 keyboard
great, eh? and a real bargain, i paid under 3000$ for the original version in feb '97
I first heard about this board about a month ago.
Apparently, amongst other things it will feature a socketed BIOS.
For anybody in the UK interested, I put a couple of feelers out.
The board doesn't 'officially' exist yet, at the moment they are just trying to drum up interest for when they do produce it, so they know numbers etc.
It will be about a month before UK retailers know if/how many units to expect.
It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either
