Anyone want to march on Matrox HQ?
Thats pretty much how I feel at the moment. Months of waiting, rumors upon rumors, rampint speculation, and non a single fu'ing peep from Matrox except that little thing on the murc main page in russian where they pretty much said 'wait until summer'. I guess that fits into the 'soon' category.. yeah, sure.
And to be honest, I don't think that card is even the 'one' that we are all waiting for.. its probably going to be a little step up from the G450 card, and the big Gxxx will be released next year. Either way.. a summe release means sales start around Aug/Sept, with little availability for the first several months (remember the MAX? ).. so by christmas you _may_ have a shot of getting one.. but oops, it'll probably be out dated by then since the damned thing was already delayed and they missed the optimal release window.
Its so damned furstrating.. I have this G400MAX that I love, but the thing is really stretched to the point where its getting iffy for some of the games I want to play. Pretty much if I want a new game now, I have to run it in 800x600 with lower detail settings just to get a semi-smooth framerate (25-30fps). And thats on a GHz system too... argh.
I think a lot of people are sick of waiting for what is nothing at the moment. I really hope that KyroII card is as sweet as it sounds.
