What do you expect? If you are knocking any country, their views or policies, you will be upsetting other people whether puposefully or not.
Joel didn't post using your name. Rather than deleting your post, he removed the part he felt should not be posted and signed his name so you would know what happened.

Well, they may have been removed for a good reason. For example:

"I do not agree with the U.S.'s policies."
is different from
"The U.S. sucks, these Americans are idiots."

I'm not accusing bongo of having posted something like the latter, since I never saw the post. But, I am sure that if your post was like the former, Joel would have left it alone.

All I expect is that the moderator of this forum execise some self control by not censoring or deleting messages he does not agree with.

Joel removed 2 of my posts so far that I know of; and on the last one he impersonated me.

This is not fair; or part of any notion of a free and open forum. I stated that america has become a screwed up country bigtime because it has become a bunch of bullies. The US bombs the little guy (like the serbs) and chickens out when faced with adversaried who have the ability to give them a bloody nose (the chinese with tianenmen square massacre/spyplane fiasc...and the russians with chehnya "cleansing".)

The us people allowed this crap to occur by electing leaders who have the moral integrity of bullies; and what does this say about the people who voted for them...they are either bullies themselves or too lazy for words. Either way; the US is a mess and that is how I see it.

When Joel started his thread entitled "Bull***" (ironic it began with same letters as "bullies" begins with) and I offered my theory on how things got that way...I was immediately censored.

And to boot he impersonated me in his statement of retraction...Does the moderator have the right to use the name of a MURC member when censoring or deleting? Can't you simply use the moderator name?

All this shameful and completely contrary to the notion of a free and open soapbox forum.

I know most of you won't care about little bongo having a few messages deleted; but just wait if it ever happens too you. I guarantee you guys will scream about it as well.
