I'm sorry about your keyboard, but did you have to include the bit about Tina in the title of the posting?

It's 7.30pm here is Australia as i write this and the final episode of Survivor goes to air at 8.30pm tonight. My Partner was in the room with me at the time i loaded "The Soap Box" and now we know the result before it's broadcast.

Needless to say, it makes watching the 3 hours of it (final ep and reunion) kinda less worthwhile (providing you are telling the truth of course)...

And it was worthwhile to begin with? Those are the sorriest bunch of idiots ever to walk the face of the planet.

I watched an episode of the first one, and I just couldn't figure out why they DIDN'T have huts and proper sanitation. I mean... rule #1 when stranded on an island is: Water, Shelter, Food - in that order.

They never did figure it out. Sorry bastards.

I suppose if you like watching complete idiots debase themselves in a life-threatening manner, it might be amusing. But not every Thursday for 2 years.

            Damn...

Sorry about that Delany I posted it about an hour after the show and it was supposed to be broadcast live...

You would think with all this high tech satallite stuff they could get it right.

Now I feel like an a$$

You mean both of your Shift keys stopped working at the same time? That's odd.

I would try borrowing another keyboard known to be working well and checking with that before buying a new one.

That's very debatable. It might actually make the show worth watching if they HAD a chance of dying.

                  FDS...

It has more to do with an accident by my fiance and an ill placed open can of mountain dew.... you would be suprised at how fast that stuff can eat away contacts that were wearing out.. LOL

Other keys eventually stopped working to so I went to my parents house and found an old PS/2 IBM keyboard from 1993.... except for the typewriter clicking sound it works really good...

I love those IBM keyboards. The feel of the keys is like none other.

I wish they still made them like that.

I love my buckling spring IBM keyboards. Both my home computers have them; one keyboard from 1992. What component on your main-use computer is from 1992? Still working great (and holding down my desk!) after a fire, cat projectile vomiting on it and subsequent washing off in the sink, etc. I love the feel, layout (no Windows key!), etc.

As for Survivor, since I hadn't seen a single episode, I figured I better check out the big finale. I lasted about 15 min. Adults in summer camp....oh boy.

                              Hey cbman,
Are you sure your keyboard is broken? There might just be some sugar built up. Open it up and give it a good rinsing. It can't hurt anything. It's worked for me.
