Spazm, are you drinking Coca Cola, or Pepsi? If you are drinking both, I think your tastebuds have gone haywire and make you feel queezy

Do you drink it pure, or with cognac/rum/whiskey/wodka? If you drink it like that, don't even bother stepping on your bike

If you drink much of either cola, I think the only muscles being not too happy about you are your stomach muscles, as they grow to keep your cola-stomach in line

Drink water. Not the canned stuff, but just from the tap in the house. Drink tea, to get the caffeine back. And stop smoking

hehe, Jorden... i'm not smoking and i have'nt even tryed. Smoke gives me headache and after a while i fell i could fell uncouncious.

Well, i drink coke... my bro prefer pepsi 'cuz he say's coke give him flu.... no idea why. Since groserie stores switches their rebates between coke and pepsi we chooses the one that will cost the less. BTW i prefer coke a lot more than pepsi.

I have'nt ever tryed cognac, rum, whiskey, ... i don't go in bars. But my bro bought me some vodka... i have'nt mixed coke & vodka, but both are great. Milk get's a strange taste after that some people say's i could had got sick.

And would'nt it be better to drink coffe rathen than tea to get caffeine back? I've tryed coffe once and it was'nt a great idea in my condition.

Don't believe it. It's all humbug. And I like Coca Cola above Pepsi, because of the taste. They are both sweet, but Pepsi is sweeter than Coke is. Try a Pepsi Max once, and you know what I mean, no matter what those guys on their mountainbikes say, in the commercial

Hey, i have'nt said i mix coke and milk... i just drink 'em separately. Like i'm drinking my vodka before and coke after. Don't know why but it's like an habit to me... when eating a hotdog i'll take the bread and the sausage separately. Anyway that's not important.

I'll try both once again, but the last time i took coffe it was after a lan party at 2am... that was'nt a too good idea.

I can't trust anyone so how could i trust him. I can't verify everything he say's i'd go crazy.

Pepsi Max.... that say's something to me, but it's rather old isn't it? Was'nt it the one with 1/2 of the can white? If it is, it's totally disapered here... not a place sell that anymore it's like cherry coke... i did'nt had even the time to try the cherry coke.

The only exercise I do is kung-fu and soccer (and it´s enough, believe me). Then, in the weekends, off I go with my friends to parties and drink beer, vodka with lemon, absynth w/ apple juice and smoke cigarettes and other...errr... stuff. Talk about contradictions. Nonetheless, my health is very good (up till now, I´m just 25). I smoke an average of 2-3 cigarettes a day. I smoke more when I go out at night.

You just need to go cold turkey on the caffeine. Seriously.

Caffeine is more addictive than nicotine. It's just as addictive as cocaine - just not as bad for you.

When I was a little fledgling programmer, working 100-hour weeks, I lived on the stuff. A 2L of Mountain Dew before lunch, Iced Tea mix so strong there was sludge on the bottom all afternoon, and coffee from dinner until bed.

And cutting back resulted in splitting headaches, queasiness, shakes, the works.

But in the end I had to do it - cut it all out. Boy, it sucked for a couple weeks. Barely could get out of bed in the morning, only to take a few aspirin and then go back to bed. But once it was out of my system I felt much better.

Now I use it in moderation. A big cup in the morning, and maybe a cola in the afternoon. None after dinner, that's a recipe for sleeplessness.

And I feel a lot better now for it.

Now if I could get off my fat lazy ass and exercise, I'd be in GREAT shape!

Well Kindness, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only Muscle Headed Geek on these forums.....LOL

You guys were teasing my about the trophies in my office awhile back when I showed off my 24" monitor.


I got them from drinking "Diet Coke" and lifting weights 6 days a week for about a 12 yr period. I even dragged Oboy to the gym for awhile....LOL

I competed in amature Body building from 1982 to 1994 mostly NPC (National Physique Committee) sponsored contests.

My first contest was the Novice division of the New Mexico State Championships back in 1982 right after the "Conan the Barbarian" movie was released. Arnold himself MC'd the contest. I took 5th place in the novice division and received my first trophy from Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Here's a picture of me waiting on stage while the places were announced at the 1994 Southwest Regional NPC Contest. I was only 40 yrs old back then.

Be careful with tea, it can have loads of caffiene in it.

And about Coke giving "the flu." I can believe it. I've heard of people being allergic, and I know a couple of people who feel flu-like for a few hours after they have Pepsi products (yes, even when they don't know it's a Pepsi product). It must be some of the flavorings or other preservatives involved.
