Motorcycle update
Well, I did it. I got my license successfully a couple of weeks ago. I've been itching ever since to get myself a bike. Went a saw a couple of wrecks (they looked great in the ads!). Got very dissappointed that I wouldn't be able to get anything of decent quality for a reasonable price.
This afternoon, I found it. It's an '83 Honda Nighthawk 650, with about 28,000 kms on it (17,500 miles). Runs beautifully, no rust, and it seems to have been taken care of quite well. It has the 6-speed OD transmission, and LCD displays for selected gear and fuel (adds to the geek factor
). I got it for a mere CAD$1700. Should be able to pick it up by wednesday. WooHoo!!!
