$3566.90 - that's how much the DVD collection in our house is worth (we have to keep the value up to date for home and contents insurance). Halve that for US dollar value. I think we have 103 of them...

Anyone else got a dvd addiction like this?

Whoa, I don't think I could name more that 20 or 30 movies that I'd even want to watch more than once, let alone ones that I would want to own. That's certainly a healthy addiction you've got going there

I think I have about 120 DVDs, but I stopped counting at 100. "Godfather" and "Akira" are on preorder, and "Pitch Black", "Dungeons and Dragons" and "Snatch" are in the mail ... should be here this week.

          I have just over 50.

I don't know if you guys have tried DVDProfiler, but it's kinda cool.

Here's the link to my collection.

150 and counting, here. But some of them were freebies... and will soon be recycled via the local "DVD and CD Exchange" store. Hehe.

SteveC: Is your MIB LE box silver? Ours (region 4) is black. I think I prefer the looks of your region 2 version.

I'm gonna have to set up our collection in the Profiler sometime (but not right now coz I'm at work and don't have access to the UPC codes...)

Wow. Looks like a lot of DVDs look different for the different regions. That Dogma looks nothing like ours, and neither does Go.

OK, some of you have WAY more DVD's than me, but can you watch them on a trip? I can. Here is my car with a VCR tape playing in the back and a DVD in the front (in Dolby Digital). The rear screen can either be watched through the speakers or with the infra-red headphones. I can switch them and watch the VCR in front and DVD in back or watch the video of a DVD and listen to the radio or CD. Of course you can watch the DVD through both screens at once and pump it through the system for maximum effect.

Not the most legal thing in the world (so I'm told) but the stereo shop didn't mind taking my money and they did the job as I asked.

cerb - that Dogma I have is the Region 1 one, also my Men in Black is the silver one.
