Here in australia, it costs so ******* (i censored that word myself) much. And I would have to go through telstra, the poorest excuse of an ISP since AOL

LOL I actually did download an ISO of Linux once on 56k. Took three or four days I think. Haha when I got DSL I managed to download an ISO in 1 1/2 hour

Well, I did have it all downloaded 24 hours ago, but I have been upgrading my slackware system in the meantime. :-)

Xfree 4.1 is worth the download all by itself. It has the Xvideo extentsion that makes good game and video accelleration possible under X.

Also, I can now play DVD's using oms (not very well yet)

BTW turbo, that is why there are mechanisms to resume downloads (like wget -c command, or ftp resume command)
