Please don't give up the ship.
This is a very trying time for many people.
By having a soap box forum here there is, of course, a risk that people will shout from that soap box, as opposed to exchanging calm dialoge, from time to time.
You could, I suppose, close the soap box forum, but I don't recomend it.

LAMFDTK if you bothered to look at why I was doing this you would have seen it was because of a lot of ugly anti Americanism amongst other things. There is a grieving process going on here, not just from Americans, but lashing out at everyone, especially those that sympathise fully with you will not solve a single damn thing. Your attitude only enforces my decision to do this in fact I will now be shutting down the soap box altogether because of the nasty way things are going, too many knee jerk reactions. If it spreads to other forums then I will shut the forum site down completely.

I know that you are one of the more extreme patriotic people on these forums, but you shouldn't let a few closed posts get the best of you. Ant has to make decisions that is in the best interest of all people that come to MURC. I remember in the very beginning you were pretty extreme and you got into a lot of heated arguments with many fellow MURCers to the point that it turned into a battle. I also remember you coming back and posting respectful posts which, eventually, led to many people here contributing to your site. If you can suck up the pride then, I'm sure you can do it again now. WE are all human bro.
