I don't know if this thing has already been posted here. Just want to let you know I DON'T GET THIS!!
-Open MS Word
-Choose font size 40
-Font type: wingdings
-Then type Q33NY (must be in capital)..

with word97 there is no font size 40!

MS Word 2000 doesn't have either. You have to type 40 in the font size box and press Enter. Not sure if this is the problem.

Q33NY was the flight number of one of the planes that crashed into the WTC. Btw, font size of 36 also works. But this coincidence (of the resulting images) is really scary!

It shows a plane, two "written pages" (that could be considered the WTC towers), a skull with two crossed bones (pirate flag, death) and the jewish star.

Edit: seems it doesn't matter if you use 8 or 72 for font size, as long as you use Wingdings it shows

It had to be a hoax.
After all, there are a ton of symbolic language that you can make with wingdings.

Using symbol type fonts, you can find all sorts of things that are really just coincidence, but there will always be conspiracy theorists who want to believe are intentional.
Try typing in NYC (New York City) in wingdings or webdings, and you get:

This number is not a hoax at all. It does have a direct relationship to the aircraft in question, it's just not the registration number.

United States civilian aircraft have a registration number starting with the prefix N.

The number quoted is actually the American Airlines internal tracking number of that individual aircraft.

On the MUG list regulars (MediaStudio Users Group) is an American Airlines pilot. This is how he explained it (reformatted a bit for clarity);

"It (Q33NY) is the specific system tracking number given it by the company:

Q = Boeing 767-300, tail number N3033AA, based in NY

I'm flying W25ST (Boeing 717-200 N2025TW tail St. Louis) tomorrow morning. I cannot, however,vouch that this was the actual aircraft. Guess I better check mine with the fonts."

For completeness sake;
