Doesn't work on a G400, don't bother. Just another victim of Matrox's ambivlence to OpenGL support.

      WOW!!!

That is WAY cooler than the first one!

Everything is in 3D when you build and test the bridge. They have added textures and enhanced the sound. When the bridge is comming apart you can see the water ripple below like pieces are hitting it. You can even adjust the amount of daylight. You can choose to ride the train across the bridge and check out your handy work. Even the sound of the bridge creaking (and buckling) is in surround sound (turn up the woofer!).
      This is incredible!
      Definately a thumbs up.

A thumbs down and another major thumbs up... wonder who I should believe!

Didn't say the GAME wasn't good, it just doesn't work on a G400.

game looks cool, but it's impossible to run on my system - getting about 0.1 fps & missing triangles...

Don't work on my gxx0's either...

Works fine on my brother's Savage 4!

Well, what did you expect? It's OpenGL.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

If you need the OpenGL to work with, goto http://webdeploy.glsetup.com/webdeploy.121/glsetup.exe
The G200/G400/G450 are included in this OpenGL.

                    does it run faster then?

it is running... somehow... well, crawling...nearly standing still to be exact!

Don't take Jord's advice, you'll just end up messing up your current PDesk install. GLSetup is for people who can't figure out how to download the right drivers from the proper place.

I tried it myself just out of morbid curiosity, fully aware of the dangers, and it made no difference. It just installed PD6.50. Thankfully my system reboots pretty quick so uninstalling and reinstalling 6.51 didn't take long.

For the record, it also doesn't work on my ThinkPad T21 (S3 Savage/IX) or my dell optiplex GX110 at work (Intel i810). So, is this thing nVidia only or what?

Edit: I'll test it next week when we get our new GX150 machines in (Intel i815 chipset in those).

well, since I started this thread, I'll say that it did not work on my G200 at work, but I didn' realzie it wuld be all matrox cards. I cam home and tried it on my Radeon adn it works fine. For the record, I didn't get that same ecited feeling of plaing it as I did with the original. I haven't played it since the first day.
