  • horror (halloween) decoration

This request goes especially to the US - people here (halloween experienced).

What am I going to do?

organising a dance night for about 300-400 people together with my classmates (reason: last schoolyear, final exams, tradition)

Why am I posting that here?

the motto of the dance night is "thriller" and the hall should be decorated appropriate so we want to use all kind of "horror" - stuff.

one of my first thoughts was "Halloween", but we are not "celebrating" that here, so there is not much appropriate decoration for sale.

What the hell does he want then?

I need pictures of creative decoration ideas, recipes, easy home-made stuff, fotos from your last halloween/horror party, everything

    thanks for your help,
    just mail me fechter@uni.de
    or post something here.

There is a whole Halloween subculture in the States. In our neighborhood it's not unusual to see houses being elaborately decorated a month ahead of time, often including animatronics and rather sophisticated lighting effects.

      Here are some links to Halloween sites. They should give you more ideas than you could ever use;

      Halloween Online:

      Halloween Magazine:

      Amazing Lenses (Halloween contact lenses):

      Vamp Halloween (nice ideas):

      Kims Halloween site:

Halloween, Herring, Cangelosi, King, ideas, inexpensive, party, King's

Just play Michael Jackson's Thriller....that'll be enough to scare 'em silly.

I'd rather listen to Monster Hash!
