We had a parallel Zip running on NT4 at work. Zips and NT4 are a PITA. I know we had the drivers installed on this box, and that it was a special case. I don't *think* guest worked, but I wouldn't bet money on it. I couldn't find info online.

Spasm... if you don't use it that much and you don't want to spend too much on it just shop around for a cheapie 4*4*24 CD-RW.... you should be able to find one kicking around.
I did this a while ago to hold me until something faster than 8* came out.... then I realized that I didn't really need anything faster (I only burn two or three CD's a Month on average.)
The model I have is the Mitsumi 4804-TE... It was fairly inexpensive and it supports RAW (if you want to use CloneCD)AMD Phenom 9650, 8GB, 4x1TB, 2x22 DVD-RW, 2x9600GT, 23.6' ASUS, Vista Ultimate
AMD X2 7750, 4GB, 1x1TB 2x500, 1x22 DVD-RW, 1x8500GT, 22" Acer, OS X 10.5.8
Acer 6930G, T6400, 4GB, 500GB, 16", Vista Premium
Lenovo Ideapad S10e, 2GB, 500GB, 10", OS X 10.5.8

I think i'll borrow my friend's zip to test on my w2k station just to be sure if it will work or not. I'll see what's the best option after.
The original movie is 640*360 in Divx(I think) it's 23mb and then i got the mpeg one. Maybe if i'd play with settings it'd be able to compress it enough to be put on a reasonable floppy number.
I just checked for cdburners... here most that are use are SCSI... too bad i don't have it, i could had a burner for ~50 max. I'll check that as an option also i've seen in a store a panasonic 8*4*32 for 124$

The Lite-On would be a nice drive. Greebe will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's an OEM Plextor. Go for it. I love my Plextor.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
