'Save Me' by Queen or 'Against all odds' by Phil Collins are good to feel miserable too.
Worth searching out is a *very* early Fleetwood Mac (Just after Peter Green went mad and quit) number called "Jewel Eyed Judy", from the album 'Kiln House'. You might be able to find it on MP3 if youre lucky.

'Dont look back in Anger' by Oasis for a slightly more upbeat feel.

Commiserations anyway, hope you feel better soon.

Sorry, I'm not good with break-up songs.

Love songs, tho, I've got a few of those if you need any in the future.

Nights in White satin can be a little uncomfortable at the wrong times.
I once had a women singing Angels by Robbie Williams at me however she could never decide whether she wanted me around or not. Pity really she'd been better off.

Good thing to have physical ignore on

Now Greebe: Was the breakup between you and mrs. Greebe?

In that case I would almost grasp for:
              Don’t Cry, Go,
              Someday

Edit: Wish you were here, by Pink Floyd

I could point to more lyrics, but it won't help much. Neither would anyone else's songs/lyrics on here.

Wishing you or the other person you are helping well !!

Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but I think "I've lost you" or "Fool" from Elvis fit this mood very good. "Bridge over troubled water" as well (Simon&Garfunkel or - again - the Elvis Las Vegas version).
Although "Against all Odds" and "Sorry seems to be the hardest word" (Elton John is way better here than Joe Cocker IMO) are fine to me too. "Still loving you" by the Scorpions if you're in a bit more agressive mood.
