From my personal collection comes the MOST Exquisite 1912 Edwardian gown I own.
Edward VII died in 1910.. so how can a 1912 dress be Edwardian? Smells like fraud to me..

$1000 is probably not such a ridiculoous price for something like that.. what really outraged me was when I was told that Cher spent $200,000 on a dress she wore at some charity event.. $200,000!!!! That's f***ing OBSCENE! I can't even afford a house and she spends that on a dress! Hollywood people definitely make too much money.

I would like to know how much she actually donated to the charity.

Take heart, though. Often, celebs will wear the outfit "gratis," with the designer foregoing the bill in return for publicity.

The celeb has to give it back afterward. Don't know what happens to it then. Sold on EBay, I suppose.
